Classic Vanilla – a light sponge flavoured using Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla, topped with vanilla buttercream
Lemon – a lemon sponge using fresh lemons topped with lemon buttercream
Chocolate – a rich sponge made using Green & Blacks Organic Fairtrade Cocoa Powder topped with chocolate buttercream
Mint Choc Chip – a chocolate sponge as above topped with a zingy mint buttercream
Carrot cake – Moist and full of flavour with hints of cinnamon and ginger, topped with orange cream cheese icing
Guinness cakes – a very moist chocolate sponge a with a hint of Guinness, topped with a miniature chococlate pint
Red Velvet – A striking red chocolate sponge topped with cream cheese icing or vanilla buttercream if you prefer.
I believe that baking in small batches from scratch and using only the best quality ingredients is the key to achieving the most consistently delicious cupcakes. I have sourced the finest ingredients I possibly can including local free range eggs, fair trade sugar, doves organic flour, Madagascan vanilla and green and blacks organic fair trade cocoa. My cupcakes contain no preservatives or additives. Every recipe I use has been taste tested with my friends and family so I can ensure I am always baking the most scrumptious cupcakes found in Wiltshire
In many of my recipes I use gluten free flour and baking powder*.
